One year working project on this AC-Cobra

This car was orginially purchased in France with a typical kit car build style,  mechanically enough for an occasional crusing use.

The target for the newer vesion was however completely different.

Some aspect needed immediate actions, like engine cooling and instruments replacement.

85% of the car has finally been redone and rebuilt to reach a new scope of expectations:

- Mechanical safety and reliability

- Excellent street handling

- Capable of hosting a new engine setup of +500hp and 600NM of torque.

SHELBY AC COBRA - 427ci

PHASE ONE  COMPLETED

Upgrading the engine to a 427 small block Ford will come afterwards, in 2025.

The focus for now has been to get the car ready for it.

All these aspects have been completely by hand rebuilt or custom machined, from scratch:

- Cooling

- Suspension, shortening & steering

- Chassis strenghtening, cleaning and repainting.

- Braking

- Exchaust

- Fuel system

- Interior & insulation

- Wiring

- Dash & instruments

- Wheels & wheel hubs
